Located in the Downtown District in FLAT ROCK, BYOB has a unique way of serving you the BIGGEST Burritos around. Emanual and Josue Guzman have been building its customers customized Burritos and more since they opened in July. Located at 26068 East Huron River, next to DoSans, the restaurant is dedicated to offering the most for your hard earned dollar either as a carry out or you can sit in their quaint dining area.

“We create customize your meal just for you,” says Emanual, and use only the freshest ingredients to prepare every dish, with our years of experience. Emanual continues by saying that they are more than a Burrito restaurant. They have many menu choices and are happy to build what each customer wants.

The owners Emanual and Josue and staff at BYOB will greet you with the warmest welcome, whether you are a regular patron or come in for the first time.

WELCOME TO FLAT ROCK

The first Euro-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Michael had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence.

The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the Village of Vreeland until 1838 when the Vreeland family sold off the majority of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York.

Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.
