Shop Hop
The Flat Rock DDA and Flat Rock Our Hometown are bringing back the Downtown Flat Rock Shop Hop. The Shop Hop returns to the corner of East Huron River Drive and Church Street a few blocks east of Telegraph Road.
Come shop the streets of Downtown Flat Rock on the second Thursday in June, July and August. There will be local venders and artisans who will present their UNIQUE goods to you from 1-7pm. Click Here for more details.
The Transit Brothers – June 20th
The Transit Brothers will be at HuRoc Park on Thursday June 20th.The band is an electrifying tribute band that celebrates the most legendary horn bands in history. The band features a distinctive and powerful brass driven sound reminiscent of acclaimed groups like Chicago, Tower of power and Earth Wind and Fire.
Come check them out at HuRoc Park for their FREE Concert in the Park on June 20th starting at 6:30 pm.
New This Year – Family Fest
This year, Chalk-The-Walk and Movie in the Park will be combined for a delightful family evening at HuRoc Park on July 17th. The festivities begin in the afternoon with Chalk-The-Walk, supported by the Michelle Davis Group-Re/Max Masters and Biggby Coffee Flat Rock, inviting artists of all ages to display their talents along the park’s 3/4 mile sidewalk. Additional attractions include a Bounce House, a Kids Train, Corn Hole, and various crafts and activities available presented by the Flat Rock Recreation Dept. from 4-7 PM.
The movie “Lilo & Stitch” will be shown at 6:30 PM on our digital screen. The movie is supported by the Flat Rock DDA and local businesses. A selection of popcorn, candy, and other snacks will be on offer. Stay tuned for more details. 
Fire Lake – July 18th
Fire Lake is a Michigan Based band that pays tribute to one of Michigan’s Favorite Rock-and Roll Icons, Bob Seger. Prepare yourself to feel the genuine passion of over 50 years of Seger hit songs and some rare gems that Seger fans appreciate. Rather it is a concert theatre event or an all night Rock-and Roll dance party Fire Lake, and its Seger catalog has it covered.
Taste of Flat Rock – July 20th
This year’s Taste will run from Noon until 5. We will be closing down E Huron River from Seneca to Garden Blvd and the participating shops and Restaurants will have booths on the road. There will be face painting, a bounce house, and slide fir kids. Our DJ Michael will fill the air with Great Music and announcements. There will be tents to keep you cool and a place to sit and enjoy your food. As in the past, we will have all your favorite local food for you to sample.

Cruzin’ Flat Rock Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show – Saturday August 10th
The show is FREE and open to the public.
The 2024 Show includes.
- Free Registration on site.
- Trophies and Prizes Awarded.
- All Classes and Styles of Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles are Welcome.
- Motorcycles will have a registration within the show.
- Registration runs 9 AM until Noon.
- Show starts at 10 AM Ends at 3:45 PM
- Registered cars, trucks and motorcycles will get 2 discounted shirts ($5 each)
- Registered cars, trucks and motorcycles are entered into a door prize drawing.
- FREE Event Shirt for former “Cruzin’” Trophy Winners. (You must bring your trophy to receive free shirt)
- Awards and prizes at 3
- The Cruise starts at 3:45 PM

M125 is a classic rock and dance band based in Monroe, Michigan. The band will start at 6:30pm at HuRoc Park.
Movie In The Park – DC League of Super-Pets
DC League of Super-Pets is an animated action-adventure film that features Krypto the Super-Dog and his team of shelter pets. They embark on a mission to rescue Superman and the Justice League from a mysterious villain, discovering their own superpowers and learning to work together as a heroic squad.
