The Flat Rock Plaza has its first business, an upscale salon named Salon Europa.

Located at 27395 Telegraph Road, Salon Europa opened its doors in early February and “business is going well,” according to owners Tammy and Dave Brossia. “We have found this location on a main thoroughfare like Telegraph Rd to be a great place for business.”

Tammy, a long time hair stylist, is excited about how business is going early on.  They are opened for the hair styling and cutting but have designed the beautiful setting to include nail techs and massages areas.

Tammy explains that Salon Europa “is an upscale salon at affordable prices.”

Salon Europa is planning its grand opening in March and are already charging low Grand Opening Prices.

Dave is also excited about how business is going and is looking forward to more business as the Flat Rock plaza grows.  He is expecting one new businesses to join the Flat Rock Plaza sometime in March on the south side of the Salon and a second business on the north side of the store by early spring.

You can vist Salon Europa Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 7PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.

For appointments you can call Salon Europa at (734)782-9884 during business hours.  Salon Europa is also offering a couple of great discounts. Download your printable coupons by clicking here.

WELCOME TO FLAT ROCK

The first Euro-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Michael had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence.

The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the Village of Vreeland until 1838 when the Vreeland family sold off the majority of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York.

Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.
