Flat Rock Community Center Presents – Bible Bingo: An Act of Charity…in Two Acts

On January 25th, the Flat Rock Community Center will present a Hilarious comedy called Bible Bingo: An Act of Charity…in Two Acts

Vicki Quade, creator of the hit comedy, Late Nite Catechism, brings to life a new comedy, Bible Bingo: An Act of Charity…in Two Acts on this Sunday, beginning at 5:30 pm.

The new show is about the Catholic culture of fundraising and bingo. In this interactive comedy, the parish needs money and the Archdiocese has a new bingo department. Bring the two together and you have a night of bible trivia, audience interaction, improvised moments, and the funniest quiz about the Holy Family you’ve ever seen.

Add to that a box of wacky prizes, fun bingo cards, and a lot of Catholic humor. In this interactive bingo show, you’ll actually play bingo, and still learn a little something about what it means to be Catholic! The show gets the audience talking about everything from Adam & Eve to modern sins.

You’ll be laughing so hard, you’ll have to be careful watching your bingo cards! “As the creator of Late Nite Catechism, Vicki Quade knows a thing or two about what makes a one-person show successful,” states Pioneer Press, Chicago.

Priests and nuns also love Bible Bingo. “Thankfully you were very respectful of Catholic practices and culture,” said Fr. Dennis Quint, pastor at the Basilica of St. Francis in Dyersville, IA. “The performance likely caused many folks to consider how ignorant of the faith they are. More than one person afterward wondered if you were really a religious! Well done!”

“This was really fun,” added Monsignor Bill Schooler, pastor at St. Pius X parish in Granger, IN. “ Everybody enjoyed it.”

After Bible Bingo traveled to the New Orleans area, Sr. M. Michaeline, pastor coordinator for Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish raved: “Your performance was great.

You never missed a beat – picking up on audience comments. You kept the show moving and with such a variety of material. Many people in the audience commented on how you brought back memories of their childhood days in Catholic school. In short: great performance, great delivery, great material.”

Go ahead…. resurrect your social life in this guaranteed night of divine entertainment!

More fun than Sodom and Gomorrah!!

So much fun, you’ll have to confess it!!!

The cost for the evening of dinner and comedy is only $40.00 or you can purchase a table of 10 for $350.00. Grab nine of your friends and take advantage of the $35.00 price. WELCOME TO FLAT ROCK

The first Euro-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Michael had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence.

The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the Village of Vreeland until 1838 when the Vreeland family sold off the majority of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York.

Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.
