Fourth Annual Cruzin’ Flat Rock Car Show June 9th

Cruzin Flat Rock Car, Truck And Motorcycle Show June 9th HuRoc Park Flat Rock Mi.

The Cruzin’ Flat Rock Car-Truck & Motorcycle Show is less than a month away. The show takes place on Saturday June 9th at HuRoc Park in Flat Rock. The entry fee is only $5.00 (spectators are FREE) and each entrant will receive a Cruzin or Summerblast T-Shirt, a Cruzin 2018 Dash Plaque, a chance at a door prize from local businesses and other goodies. If you have been a Cruzin’ Trophy Winner in the past, your entry fee will be waved when you bring your trophy and display it at the show.
Below are the Prizes you can win including a trophy for all three places winners in each category.
In addition to the cash prizes listed below, the first-place winners will receive a Cruzin’ Flat Rock Hat.

WELCOME TO FLAT ROCK

The first Euro-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Michael had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence.

The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the Village of Vreeland until 1838 when the Vreeland family sold off the majority of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York.

Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.
