It’s that time again. Time for the semi-annual Flat Rock Historical Society Flea Market! The flea market is this coming Sunday, May 5th.
The market will be open from 7am to 4pm. It is located at the Flat Rock Speedway, which is one mile south of Flat Rock, on Telegraph Road.
This year there will be about 300 vendors to shop from. Vendors sell everything from antiques, movies, tools, furniture and anything else you can imagine. Don’t forget to check out the famous “deal on the hill.” If you get hungry, you can stop by the concession stand for the perfect flea market hot dog. If you are in the mood for a little something sweeter, check out the Historical Society bake sale, where you can get some of the best sweets made in Flat Rock.
Parking and admission is always free. Parking is directly in front of the Speedway, with handicap spots available. Make sure to arrive early to get a close spot, that way you can easily make trips to drop off your deals.
This is the flea market’s 69th year. Every year the market attracts nearly 10 thousand shoppers. Please remember that no pets are allowed. For more information, call (734) 782-5220.
