Expo Nails

August 13, 2013 By Downtown Flat Rock

If you are looking for pampering, don’t forget to check out Expo Nails on 26606 Telegraph Rd.

Expo Nails offers a great selection of nail services. They offer:Exponails2

  • Mani-Pedi – $40
  • Pedicure – $25
  • Manicure – $15
  • Shellac Manicure – $30
  • Acrylic Manicure – $25

When getting your nails painted, you can chose from over a hundred different nail polish colors. Do you want flowers, swirls or something else painted on your nails? Employees at Expo Nails are extremely talented when it comes to free handing nail designs.

“I had to take my 5 year old daughter with me last week while I got my fills. She got her nails and toes painted too! They even went so far as to paint little flowers on her toes. She was so tickled with the attention… my daughter who told everyone that would listen about the nail lady putting flowers on her toes.” said Lesley H, in a review on Yelp.

Expo nails is committed to quality. They work hard to create long lasting manicures. According to a review on Google + by Desiree Heck, she has “gone as long as 3 months with a pedicure and the polish never chipped off! My acrylic nails look very natural, and even up to 5 weeks without a fill-in, the nails stayed on and the polish never chipped off!!”

Another Google user agreed. “This place is wonderful…they take their time and treat you well. I had a pedi done 6 weeks ago and my polish has not chipped off which is amazing!!” The user said.

At Expo Nails, everything is cleaned before they use it on a new customer. They use a special sterilization machine on all pieces of equipment to ensure clean, usable tools.

They also offer eyebrow threading, chin threading, and upper lip waxing.

Expo Nails is open on Sunday from 11:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 7:30pm, and Saturday from 9:30am to 7pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also make an appointment. For more information, call them at (734) 782-2203.

WELCOME TO FLAT ROCK

The first Euro-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Michael had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence.

The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the Village of Vreeland until 1838 when the Vreeland family sold off the majority of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York.

Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.
