The Huron River is a great source for fishing all summer long and now with the warmer weather here everyone is hiking it down there to try their hand at catching some of the smallmouth bass and white bass that have been popping up.
Your best best bet is trying a variety of bait and tackle options to catch these prized fish. And, if you’ve been fishing for a while you probably already have your favorites.
Try minnows, crank baits, spinners or crawlers. And be sure to stock up on all your warm water fishing supplies. A few walleye were caught between Flat Rock and Jefferson Road so be sure you get down there early and stay late to increase your chances at wrangling a few.
