  • Registration: 9:00 AM – Noon
  • Show Time: 10:00 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Trophy and Door Prize Presentation: 2:45 PM
  • Cruise Start: 3:45 PM

Show Entry & Parking Info:

  • Entry: Arsenal and West Huron River Drive (near HuRoc Park sign)
  • Visitor Parking: Atwater, East Huron River, and Gibraltar Roads

Pre-Registration Steps:

At the Show:

  • Park vehicle
  • Visit Registration Table → Pre-Registration Line

2025 SummerBlast Vendor Information

This years SummerBlast has a new location.  The 2025 SummerBlast is scheduled for three days, July 17th-19th and will take place at Community (City) Park on Gibraltar Road next to City Hall.

Please NOTE the application deadline change of date to July 1, 2025.

Here is the general information for our 2025 vendors including application and instructions.

Dear Vendor Applicant,

Attached is the application packet for the 2025 Flat Rock Festival. Your application deadline is July 1, 2025. We will be selecting only several vendors with the same merchandise and some vendors there will only be one of its kind. So, the sooner you send in your application the better. Once your application and fee has been received and your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of confirmation. Space assignments will be given during check-in Thursday, July 17, 2025, 9 am – 2:30 pm.

Your application and photos will be reviewed to ensure proper placement as well as the diversity of products offered. Festival staff will accept applications based on product, display and diversity of products compared to vendors approved prior to your application. We limit the number and type of vendors, so it’s important to get your application to us as soon as possible.

Please be sure to read the festival regulations and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you!

Flat Rock Our Hometown along with the Flat Rock community foundation are looking for volunteers for a multitude event in the Flat Rock.

By volunteering you can meet new people or maybe a friend or neighbor and help to support your community.  You can also volunteer for your required community service hours for you school or business, or you may just have some free time.

For those who would like to volunteer we have made it easy for you to join us.

The Flat Rock Downtown Development Authority is supporting our small businesses during this holiday season by giving away 4 or more gift cards weekly.  All you have to do participate is purchase any item or service from a brick-and-mortar business in Flat Rock, take your receipt to the Flat Rock City Hall and you will be entered into the weekly drawing.  You have two more weeks to purchase and enter.

WELCOME TO FLAT ROCK

The first Euro-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Michael had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence.

The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the Village of Vreeland until 1838 when the Vreeland family sold off the majority of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York.

Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.
